Investiture.

Hi councillors!There will be 4 investitures coming up.
1)ACS (independent)'s invest will be on 16th febuary from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
2)Singapore Chinese Girls School's invest will be on 30th january from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
3)Hwa Chong Institution's invest will be on 21st january which is this coming wednesday from 2pm to 5pm.
4)Mayflower Secondary School's invest will also be on the 21st of january, this coming wednesday at 3.30pm.
Please sms junjie at 82881653 if you are interested in any of the above investitures.
It will be on first come first serve basis.

Hi Councillors.Pool Room duty begins tomorrow. Please remember to check the notice board above grandstand tomorrow to see which are your duty days.
Take note: announcement duty in the mornings shall remain the same until further notice and there are no changes in announcement duty so far. So the Councillors that have been doing announcement duty, please continue to do so.

Wednesday, 14th Jan. Gather at Special Room 3c by 7:15 am
We hope that your AARs regarding Sec 1 Orientation have been sent to Jun Jie.

Hi Councillors.Tomorrow please report at the SL room by 7:15 for a meeting. As you know, we will be preparing souvenirs, which are the mugs, for the Sec 1s to be given out on the last day of Orientation. The mugs will be given out to all of you tomorrow.
Facils of Orientation group A, C, E, G, and H please take note. The Sec 1s will be heading out after school tomorrow to give out flyers to promote the newspaper collection that they will be doing this Saturday. The form teachers of the mentioned Orientation groups are unable to follow their classes, hence we will need the two facils of each Orientation group as mentioned above to accompany the classes to give out flyers after school.
The facils which can accompany the Sec 1s tomorrow, please SMS Yeung Kai at 98183993 and say who and which Orientation group facil are you. We only need two out of the three facils. Please confirm with him by TODAY
*UPDATES*
Tomorrow after school, all are required to stay back and decorate the mugs for their respective Orientation Groups.
Please bring along markers, paints etc. that you think you will be able to use to decorate the mugs.
For those that are following the Sec 1s to give out the flyers, you will come back after the flyer-giving and continue decorating the mugs.

Hi people~On Monday, please gather at the SL room at 7:15 am sharp. As we all know by now, hair and attire check will be conducted by the school on Monday. We will be doing our very own check before that as an added precaution :)
After that, we will give you all some time for discussion with your fellow facilitators on how to make the rest of orientation better than Day 1 before sending you all back to your class for assembly.
As we had said during the debrief on Day 1, there are certain things you all need to take note of regarding facilitating the Sec 1s (grabbing their attention, bonding with them etc.). We hope that you all have taken some time over the weekend to think about what we have said, reflect on what you all have done wrong or right, and how to make the rest of orientation better.
Let's aim to make Orientation a success! =D

Happy New Year Councillors!On Friday, please report to school by 7:15 am. Please report in full school uniform. As we had said before, we will be conducting an attire check, so please do make sure you are appropriately dressed before making your way down to the SL room (tie on, socks at an acceptable length etc.)
As Orientation ends at 5, and the classrooms may be locked by then, please bring down your bags as well to put them in the SL room.
Melvin and Nixon should have sent all of you the relevant materials you all require for Orientation (schedule, programme etc.) to your emails. Please print out what you need and bring them for all 5 days of Orientation. If you have not received the materials, please call Nixon at 9062 4528 to send them to you ASAP.
As usual, inform those that are not sure of this.
