Hello, welcome to the Catholic High School Students' Council blog.

The Student Council occupies a central position in representing the student body. Student Councillors are appointed by the school administration to assist the school in promoting the well-being of the students.

Student Councillors demonstrate good character and conduct, have good academic results and possess leadership qualities. They serve as role models for the students and are given substantial autonomy in managing student affairs. They also assist in hosting visitors to the school as well as organizing major school events such as Sec One Orientation, Teachers' Day Celebrations, Sec Four Graduation Night, Student Leaders' Investiture, etc.

Please print & bring all relevant documents. And, we stress again - be punctual.

In other words, this would mean that you should reach the SLB room at 7am and start to call the councillors who are not present, before the meeting starts promptly at 7.10 am.

Also, councillors who have not paid for the council tee, or have not returned the council tee to Kit Chong, please do so by tomorrow.

Also, please print your respective Teachers' Day proposal regarding the themes and bring the hardcopy tomorrow morning. This is extremely important.

Those who do not bring them tomorrow will have to face dire consequences. Please spread the message around.

As the school's homecoming day has been postponed due to the H1N1 situation, the workday scheduled on 27 June, Saturday, will also be postponed until further notice.

Details for the postponed workday is still unconfirmed, so do check the blog regularly for any updates.
